The MoonFor in you, you there you and Stars
I don't know how many times I've listened to the sweet voice of a child saying their prayers. Especially the Hail Mary. So many of them say, "Pray for "our" sinners, instead of "Pray for "us" sinners". I never correct them. I feel the pureness of their souls. Besides, they are not sinners. Not yet. They are too little. They have no idea of the impact that sin can bring to their sweet innocent souls.
There is nothing more soothing to me than closing my eyes and hearing the angels pray.
As a GG , I have tried to teach my sweet children and sweet grandchildren their prayers. Or at least tried to help them in their memorization of important ones like the Our Father, and Haill Mary, and Glory Be. At night we would recite our Angel of God and the 4 Corners prayer and talk about different Saints. Oh, how my heart delighted in hearing the excitement of their sweet voices telling me about a certain saint Or their blessed looks as they listened intently about them as I told the story of their lives, ( the Saints).
You must grab hold tight and fast to their sweet hands and help them as the world tries to taint them soon enough. Teach them, help guide them, let their ears hear the truth so as to plant that seed that cannot get trampled by the wiles of this world. Water their sweet souls with the prayers they can turn to in times of trouble and confusion which the world is so intent on providing for all of us.
Jesus told us to become like little children. Why do you think, of all things, a child? It's because, I believe, the pureness and richness of their intent is so true and Delights the eyes of God so much as when He 1st created all of us. With purity and love.
Look at all the pictures of angels. So many are sweet childlike faces. Jesus said, "let the little children come to me." Remember the elation of the Angels of Heaven at the Birth of our Lord as a baby.
Listen, next time a child prays. Close your eyes and hear the voice of an angel. Let it soothe your soul and may it give glory to God.
