The Most Holy Rosary
Once upon a time, there was a man who went into the woods to chop enough wood for winter. He worked all day long, breathing the fresh air of the mountains , wiping the sweat from his brow every so often. He was a good man.. Respectful of everything around him. His smile radiated within him and you could just feel he was a God fearing gentleman.
Time grew scarse and before you knew it, the sun was going down. He figured that he had enough wood, so he loaded it onto his wagon and began to trail back to his house. With each step, the sky grew darker and darker till he found himself walking aimlessly in pitch black. Not being able to quite see his way he stumbled on rocks and limbs that had fallen and he began to grow fearful. Coming to a stream, he realized he was almost home, but His path was still hidden because of the darkness. His eye caught hold of a yellow golden light that showed in every part of the water that he looked at. As he turned left to right, the light, like a little ball appeared. He ran to the edge and looked in the water straight below him only to see the light was shining from within him.. He looked down at his chest and there in the place of his heart showed a gleaming light. He had been to busy being fearful and worried that he forgot to look into his heart where Peace And Trust dwell. With the light growing brighter with each step, he found his way home and knelt on the floor of his cabin and wept tears of thankfulness and joy.
The light lives within us all. But it gets depleted by worry or jealousy, or any other kind of Sin. Anything that is not of God. Leaving only darkness. But we can get our light back with Holy Communion, and Holy Mass. We get it back by going to Confession and being truly sorry for our sins. We get it back by getting on our knees and crying tears of repentance, therefore Transforming the darkness Inside of us into lLght.
Praise God, for His tenderness and mercy for us all. Let our Light shine and may we resolve to destroy the darkness that lies within us and the world. Fiat.
