Are we blind?
It’s almost 3:00 am, and I can’t sleep. So, maybe I should start an article.
It won’t be about the assorted vatniki who fail to understand that Putin is the bad guy, Russia is the aggressor in Ukraine, and Ukraine has the right to defend themselves.
No, it’s going to be about how no matter how much information you give people, no matter how much you know about the topic, that some people will insist they’re always right.
I think, in a lot of ways, it’s better to be stupid than to be obstinate.
At least a stupid person has a reason.

“He that loveth correction, loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is foolish”. (Proverbs 12:1, Douay Rheims Version)
Day after day, I explain to people the lies they’ve been fed. Now, sometimes, I don’t think it’s intentional, but a lie is still a lie.
Some many people think that politics can save them.
No, in Christ alone are we saved. (For more on these, read Galatians 5, but, especially, Galatians 5:6).
Everyone’s looking for a political saviour. But, the love of Christ, the sacrifice of Christ, the mercy of Christ, transcends all political power.
And, I guess that’s what I’m getting at, is my arguments aren’t political, but they are religious.
There is something really demonic about supporting someone who does things like sends weapons to blow up children’s hospitals. And then acts like it’s someone else’s fault.
But, day after day, I’m out there. It’s not because I like to prove people wrong (though, admittedly, I’ll even debate myself), it’s because I think truth is too important to get wrong.
Either something is wrong, or it isn’t. Either war crimes are wrong, or they aren’t. Either antisemitism is wrong or it isn’t. Either murdering a baby is wrong or it isn’t. Either racism is wrong or it isn’t.
These are not things you can remain neutral on. And you CANNOT support evil.
And don’t assume that because someone tells you they’re right, that they’re right, they may very well be wrong.
Some people just don’t loveth correction.
