The Lord’s Ways Are Not Fair!
Have you ever experienced God's abundance? An overwhelming provision or blessing?
Like the Gospel today, God wants to show us His abundance if we have eyes to see it in our lives. Maybe God’s given you a family full of kids, a house full of love, a life full of resources, a ton of talents, or endless opportunities for purpose and fulfillment.
In today’s society, many of us see only our scarcity and not our abundance. It's a cultural problem. We see our bank accounts dwindling because of inflation. We see our houses as not being big or good enough. We see our jobs as just a means to an end. We see endless problems in our lives. We see our lives as boring and needing more amusement.
But compared to most of the world living in extreme poverty who very much do not have enough of anything they need, we truly have lives of incredible abundance.
I encourage you to find at least one way that God has given you abundance in your life, and I bet you will find more than one.
And what do we do with that abundance? We share it with those who need it and hunger for it, just like Jesus. Abundance isn't meant to be hoarded. It's meant to be grateful for and shared.
