April Dates and Feasts to Remember
The eighth month of the year brings about many things that are bound to happen. It is the last full month of summer break for many students before school starts back up. Teachers old and new will begin their planning for the upcoming school year through training and in-service. The heat for the fall classic begins to be dialed up after teams sought a missing piece or waved the white flag with their barn sales.
All in all, August is also a Marian month on the liturgical calendar. It is also dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. In addition, it is dedicated to many great saints in the church from martyrs to those who made a difference in promoting the faith.
