St. Andrew Christmas Prayer
Well, CeCe heard I wrote a story about her sister Celeste, so as it goes, I must write a story about her also. It's only fitting because CeCe is a story in herself. She's beautiful, joyful, a great artist and wonderful cook. She is a loyal and faithful friend. Her smile illuminates a room and her willingness to help when needed is above all expectations of a 10 year old.
She can grab your hand and when walking with her you can feel a child of God at her touch. She is very sensitive to nature and embraces all willingly even if rejection has welcomed her sweet hope of making a new friend, and In her loyalty and confidence in any task she undertakes, she weathers it no matter what. Whether it be pulling weeds or holding a child on her lap
She is a child of God and I am privileged to call her my grandchild. I am her Gigi and she is my angel. Striving to live in these times of technology and favoritism, she handles the situation, most of the time, with resignation with an aura of strength and Grace. She is a middle child and like most middle children is left to her own intuitions and for a 10 year old it usually comes out pretty well.
I pray she never loses her zest for life and continues to grow in her faithfulness to God.
CeCe, I love you and you are my sweet girl. Stay Gold and life will bring you many joys. Just like you have brought to me.
