Keeping Christ in Christmas
In three months, America will have a decision to make. Election Day is Tuesday, November 5th. While the Democratic National Convention will be held later in August, the party that has denied science, ripped off Americans, can’t define what a woman is, or misused the word “Weird”, just to name the many flaws, has propelled Kamala Harris, the sitting Vice President, as the party nominee. Even voters of the party share their disgust with the hasty decision without the consent of voters. In the meantime, the oligarchs who are secretly running the country are most likely ready to take a victory lap.
To make matters worse, she covered up the failing health of our sitting president. He has shown signs of dementia and possibly Parkinson’s disease since his 2020 run for the White House. Biden’s cognitive skills are appalling even with the signs of aging. Yet, his VP wants us to believe that Biden is “fit for duty”. Give me a break.
By now, the ads are invading our TV time, especially during the misogynist Olympics in Paris. For the most part, Harris, the presumptive nominee, is making the most of it. On Tuesday, she picked Monnesota governor Tim Walz as her running. He helps Harris walz (pun intended) to an anti-Catholic tickety for the Deomcratic Party.
Little by little, America is opening its eyes to the faulty 3.5 years America has endured. America can’t afford failed and weak leadership that has brought about chaos.
What Catholics need to do is double their efforts to make this race about right and wrong not race.
What our country needs to do to ensure Harris doesn’t win the race to the White House is to continue exposing her lack of credibility to lead our country for four years. Trump has proven that he can lead. He can rise above expectations. Yes, he is crazy, yet America was better off with him when he was in office as our 45th POTUS.
Then again, some are growing tired of the two-party cycle and believe that there should be a newer perspective to lead our country. John Burger wrote more about it in his feature article that could help in the efforts to break away from the flawed two-party system.
Catholics, the election is 90 days away. Let’s pay attention, mobilize Catholic voters to show up to the polls, be vigilant of potential fraud, and ensure that the right decision is made fair and square.
