Two-Hundred
To Be Last
I need a job You gave me one
I will work hard until told I am done
I was early I needed the job
So I will not have the impulse to rob
I did nothing wrong
My wages reveal I am strong
Wow look how late and he just got hired
Maybe someone just got tired
Alright my wages yay
Really great money I pulled in today
Wait you just hired them wait
They get the same hey that’s not great
The boss is here I’ll ask what’s going on
He told me I paid you what’s wrong
He let me know it’s not my affair
I did my job well He noticed I care
But this is just a story of patience and mercy
Of both our Lord has plenty
Now It’s our turn to learn
Else we might find ourselves in a big burn
So last in line to get my food
Patience tells us to wait for it will be good
Never race to be the first
To get to a fountain to quench your thirst
There may be some who need it more
Learn to wait and hold open the door
Amen
