A Battle Is Raging, On What Side Do We Align?
Eileen Renders
The battle escalates, and the stakes are high! We have chosen our sides, and we believe that our choice is all that is necessary. This action proves our choice and our loyalty. Yet this battle has been raging for some time, and we cannot align ourselves to any side without being prepared to fight a good battle.
The war I speak of has been going on since God created man. Lucifer, a fallen angel, and his followers of fallen angels were said in the Catholic Bible to be of superintelligence. When Lucifer discovered that God intended to create man because of His love for us and to go down to earth if necessary to save us, Lucifer rebelled against God and was thrown out of heaven.
As we have learned, this battle between God and Lucifer will not last forever. And God will win and cast Satan into Hell for all eternity. This is consoling, and we look forward to that day.
However, no one knows the day when God will cast Lucifer and all His fallen angels into hell. We have also been told that those who know, love, and serve God in this world will one day be happy with Him forever in paradise. Knowing this promise, are we one of God’s soldiers ready to stand up and fight for Him? To be on God’s side, we must serve Him in this fight by working toward bringing more saved souls to Him.
How do we work for Christ to help save souls that He created, including ourselves? There are many ways we can lift up our swords and fight evil. We can follow God’s Commandments, pray, teach and evangelize, meditate, or volunteer our time and or talents. Be charitable, and spend time with God. We must teach our children well to follow God. God loves us, protects us, and blesses us, and we will realize these fruits when we are giving to God what God deserves.
Whether we were drafted, or enlisted, let us join together and have a show of hands marching forward to protect all that God created and wanted for us. Somehow, we all fall guilty at times of believing we need God (and we do), yet fail to believe that He wants and counts on us as well.
Not to be rhetoric, but it is as always, our choice!
