I’ll put up a prayer

I'll put up a prayer for you

I'm not sure what it will do

But God knows what best

He’ll take care of the rest

We pray for peace or to heal

We pray to give thanks or bless a meal

The words in the prayer are like a bridge connecting us all

Leading to God who makes sure we won't fall

Today I know what I'll do

I'll put up a prayer for you
