The Power of Praying the Rosary!
“What would You like for me to Blog about God? What would You like to tell Your People, if You were writing to us?
“I already have---right there beside you—it has all been written in the Bible.”
“True, Lord, and even now Your Words can be found with a click on the computer too---all You have spoken and given to us to keep us close to Your Ways and Truth. Those Words of Yours are like that Light showing which way to go. But Lord, do all of Your People believe that when they read or hear Your Words—that You are speaking to them, to each one of us?”
Like this reading from today’s Liturgy from John 14 verse 14
”Amen, amen, I say to you,
whoever believes in Me will do the works that I do,
and will do greater ones than these,
because I am going to the Father.
And whatever you ask in My Name, I will do,
so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If you ask anything of Me in My Name, I will do it.”
“Do we really believe God that You are saying to us---when we believe in You, we will do the works that You did even greater? Or, Lord, are we thinking ‘nice story’ of what was spoke to the Apostles to encourage them to come and follow you to continue to do the Work You started? Are You speaking to us, Lord in the Gospels, in the Epistles---well in the entire Bible? Even my pastor the other day said something about “that was in the Old Testament” indicating what was spoken there is not for us now. We were talking about how You, God, discipline Your Children, and I think he wanted me to know that God would not punish or discipline me. Which I agree with the punishing part Lord for our sins and behaviors do a good enough job of that. But I know You discipline me Lord for You love me! So, God, do we Your People believe You are talking to us through all of Scripture?"
“It matters not what others believe when they hear or read My Word in the Bible--only what do YOU believe when You seek My Word or hear My Word? What do you believe?"
“You are speaking to me God. And I know, that through the power of the Holy Spirit that the Father has given us---we can do what You did and even greater if we believe in You. I know that it is through His anointing and the Gifts of Wisdom and Understanding that I am able to see what You want me to see when I read Your Words. To see the meaning of ‘believing in the Name of Jesus’ and just how I am to interpret those Words."
"What does My Name mean to You?"
"Just what do I believe when I believe in Your Name? What do I believe in when I believe in You, Jesus? I believe in Your all merciful Love and forgiveness, Your all compassionate kindness, Your all trusting faith in the Father, and Your total surrender to the Father’s Will---this is You and what Jesus means to me. You tell me that when I follow that example You have given, then I too, will do what You did and even greater. I ask then in Your Name Jesus that I be given the grace to do more than believe. May I be given the grace to love as You loved, even to the point of dying to self and all that self longs for."
“You are speaking to each of us Lord, I pray that we be given the grace do more than HEAR Your Words—may we OBEY and DO what You ask us to do.”
"May the Father's Will be done in Your life. Go and love as I have loved you."
