Time to Fast

Time it is to fast my friend

Don’t worry how long or when it will end

That is not for any of us to know

All we know is today not tomorrow

Rely today on being good to all you meet

Even they who are mean you must kindly greet

Yes our feast it awaits in a not so distant place

The Spiritual realm not outer space

Where if we have fasted properly

Our jars will be filled with the wine of felicity

Of great joy no more wants or sorrows

Simply enamored are we with Heaven’s eternal flowers

And Him our Father above

Who created us all out of His pure love

Amen
