OCTOBER FEAST DAYS AND NOVENAS
In recent years, some battleground states have implemented a so-called “convenient” way for people to vote. What makes it ironic is that they can vote and mail it to the county board in hopes of counting it toward the election.
This has opened a Pandora’s box of sorts to see if this new “convenient” way of voting shows another way that America has become lazy. It has come under scrutiny and even court battles on legality levels.
First off, many states ahead of the Draconian lockdowns brought about by the controversial COVID-19 pandemic implemented a new way for eligible voters to contribute to democracy with mail-in ballots. For example, Pennsylvania authorized Article 77 in 2019. In the last five years, it has faced many court challenges. Even a federal judge in the western part of the state allowed unsigned and undated ballots to be counted which was appealed in August of this year.
Does everyone have to vote by mail? That is what is concerning as people are looking for a reason to not get the full election experience.
Traditionally, an eligible voter (18 years old or older) will fill out a voter registration form. Within some business days, they will receive from their county a confirmation as to where to vote and reminders on deadlines and where to vote.
Now, voters are not being careful with the handling of an important duty for American democracy. They chose to be passive in voting.
Suppose a person wins the lottery. Is it a smart idea to mail in the winning ticket placing their trust in the postal service? Common sense would tell that person to turn in the ticket to where it was sold.
Like the lottery ticket, a person’s vote shouldn’t be passive. Rather, it should be active. Every eligible voter needs to show up and make their voice heard. Sending in a vote by mail is not how democracy will survive.
So, to answer the question posed in the title, voting by mail is a sign of laziness. Now, if someone is going to be out of the country for travel, study, or military service, they can cast an absentee ballot.
2000 Mules
Dinesh D’Sousa released a groundbreaking documentary of how the 2020 election was stolen. To summarize the book and documentary in four words: THE FIX WAS IN. His investigation and research showed that it was an election fraud brought about by the party that was destroying America.
Voters are asked to not take part in the vote by mail. Instead, find one’s polling place and cast their vote on election day. Polls open at 7 AM and close at 8 PM. Plan to be an active voter.
The best experience is to show up to the polls, vote, and rock the “I Voted” sticker.
