Listen and Live

Whether they’re from Matthew or Luke

These famous words definitely not a fluke

The Beatitudes a way for us to live

And as such a way for all to give

Help those who struggle readily

Help those in trouble the children and elderly

Give till it hurts and then give some more

Heaven is not for the rich but for those who are poor

Become that way monetarily

And you’ll be richer than even Solomon in Eternity

True you must still listen and do God’s Will

But starting with the Beatitudes only the Devil will  you make ill
