9/11 - 23 years later

My thoughts on the 23rd anniversary of 9/11 do not differ greatly from my thoughts on the 20th anniversary of 9/11. We still have profound messages to share with our fellow human beings, which have often been obscured before and after 9/11.
The Catholic Church absolutely proclaims the sanctity of each and every human life - from the very first moment of fertilization. The Catholic Church absolutely proclaims the sanctity of the lifelong marriage between one man and one woman. We must bring those messages to the world.
I was dumbfounded by the 1989 collapse of the Soviet bloc - never saw it coming! God had given us yet another chance, which we subsequently largely squandered.
How is it that anyone of goodwill could consider voting for someone who champions abortion and transgender treatment/mutilations?
