Wisdom and a reflection on Suffering
Viewing the sins of a sexual nature; Reducing humanity!
When looking at the sinful nature of man we must take into consideration the underlying concept of Satan’s way to get even with God, if that places a realistic approach to his rejection from heaven. His number one promotion to humiliate God and all he stands for is to attack humanity in ways that uses the abuse of sex to show God that promoting the absence of procreation will play into the devil's plan to wipe away souls for God.
“By its very nature the institution of marriage and married love is ordered to the procreation and education of the offspring and it is in them that finds its crowning glory.” (CCC 1652).
Children are the supreme gift of marriage and contribute greatly to the good of the parents themselves. God himself said: “it is not good that man should be alone,” and “from the beginning he made them male and female;” wishing to associate them in a special way in his own creative work, God blessed man and woman with the words: “Be fruitful and multiply.” Hence, true married love and the whole structure of family life which results from it, without diminishment of the other ends of marriage, are directed to disposing the spouses to cooperate valiantly with the love of the Creator and Savior, who through them will increase and enrich his family from day to day. (Taken from The Pastoral Constitution on the Church).
The conjugal community is established upon the covenant and consent of the spouses. Marriage and family are ordered to the good of the spouses, to the procreation and the education of children. (CCC 2249).
Our dilemma that all of us are privy to is that any sexual pleasure that all human beings ascend to is fine, but when any possible avenue that prohibits conception avoiding human birth is a most serious sin. Birth control, abortion, taking pills to avoid conception, or Homosexual unions that guarantee no possibility of conception are all ways that prohibit the continuation of children entering human life. There were cultures that always tried to eliminate children’s births and they are continuing today.
From Genesis we read about Onan: Onan, however, knew that the descendants would not be counted as his; so whenever he had relations with his brother’s widow, he wasted his seed on the ground, to avoid contributing offspring for his brother. What he did greatly offended the Lord, and the Lord took his life. (Gn 38: 9 - 10).
Can we even imagine the manner in which God will treat the promoters of purposely killing babies in the womb, or the many who deliberately avoid children when their marriages were made with the promise to have children before being accepted for the marriage rights?
Far too many people have decided to use sex even in marriage to avoid the opportunity to bring children into the world. And still many more join in using sex only as a gratification vehicle while using artificial birth control methods to say good-by to the fertilization of new life. Sex is fine, but do not use it to avoid children reaching into the light as they take their first breath.
