Fables Parables and Proverbs

Fables tell us morally

How to act copiously

But with talking animals

Strangely not earthly peoples

Parables on the other hand

Provide a similar agenda to land

Where the actions conform religiously

And complement the reactions humanly

Proverbs are almost riddles of a sort

Do this get that do not and receive a retort

They’re definitely religiously human in origin

Mainly concerning why man should never sin

Of all these three are types of prose

Two lend themselves directly to those

Who are religious and believe in the Trinity

And concern themselves with how man can live with his Creator eternally

Aesop and his fables

Though well meaning are just silly tall tales

That’s all they’ll ever be

Because it’s all about pure fantasy

Parables and Proverbs though come from God our Father

They tell us how to live and obtain places higher

Fables get you secular security

Religious tales gain you Jesus for your eternity
