St Teresa

Today is the feast day of beautiful Saint Therese of the child Jesus! What a wonderful and powerful Saint and intercessor we have in Heaven through her miraculous prayers and roses she deigns to bless us with.

     A Doctor of the Church and a Saint for all times, she beseeches the Heavenly Throne of God with Love with our pleas to lead a little way, a way she lived and preached throughout her life 

  Nothing greater is there than to behold the face of God. She beheld Him every day on earth and finally when she received her crown in Heaven. 

     She was an ordinary girl from France, who after realizing and accepting her desire to serve our King, she begged the Pope himself to make it happen for her to enter the Carmelites. After much waiting, she got her wish and was admitted into the Holy Order of the Carmelites. There, to ever be a shining light of Christ whom she loved with all her heart. 

     Her Little Way was simple yet difficult. She offered every cruel pain or trial to a God that she knew was merciful and just. Having Tuberculosis, a painful and struggling disease, she still could not be broken from the evil attempts of the devil to give up. 

     What strength and Grace gave her in her trials was immeasurable and she continued to fight the good fight. Comforted by her sweet family Guardian Angel in the intercessory prayers of her mama and daddy already in Heaven and the Holy Mothership of Mary, she found peace and strength to forge on till He Himself called her to her Heavenly home. 

     Oh Saint Teresa please pick me a rose from thy heavenly garden and send it to me with a message of love, ask God to grant me the favor that I implore and tell Him I will love Him each day more and more and more. Amen
