Weary World Rejoices: Christmas Reflection
Many who will read this article are not as delusional as many who will vote for the anti-Catholic ticket this November. With the Presidential election a month and a thin hair away, voters have to consider how the candidates’ running mate is willing to help strengthen or weaken their chances of leading the United States for the next four years.
Millions of viewers saw how posed, direct, and serious Senator JD Vance was in solidifying Trump’s re-election and being his running mate. He was willing to discuss the issues and was open and honest about his past comments. To me, Vance has helped Trump’s chances of getting back into the White House and finishing the work he started in 2017.
As far as the abortion issue is concerned, some thought that he was sympathetic. Mat Walsh tweeted that while he was solid in the debate,” This incessantly apologetic answer on abortion is his weakest moment by far and a tactical mistake.”
Yet, his opponent, Governor Tim Walz, demonstrated that he is not supposed to help incumbent Vice President Kamala Harris. His body language said it all, especially across his face when Vance put him on the defense. Lila Rose was quick to point out how Governor Walz misquotes Matthew.
“Whatever you do the least of these,” and support killing helpless preborn babies? The cognitive dissonance is incredible.” She tweeted.
Even Walz was fact-checked by many about abortion and immigration. Vance challenged him. Walz again was defensive in his response while fumbling his reason and trying to direct the end of Roe on Trump. The judges of the Supreme Court ended it.
Unlike the Presidential debate that took place less than a month ago, it was more civil and had a good flow.
In the end, Senator JD Vance emerged victorious. Now, what remains is to pray that he would support the protection of the unborn when elected.
