James 4:6
But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”
Reflections:
Be honest with yourself, are you a proud person or a humble person?
When are you at peace, when being a proud person or a humble person?
If you want to love God and have a personal relationship with Him, you cannot be a proud person.
By being a humble person, God will embrace you, you will be at peace.

'The Lord is my light and my salvation — whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life — of whom shall I be afraid?'
Reflections:
Is the Lord really and truly your light and salvation?
Are you really a follower of Christ?
Let the Lord be everything in your life, that you love Him truly through your life.
Know that the Lord loves you, embraces you, and that you are to be close to Him.

I am George Calleja from Malta; I am married and have two children. In 2009, I obtained my MBA through the University of Leicester.
During the years 1990 to 1996, I was a full-time missionary with ‘The International Catholic Programme for Evangelization - ICPE’ and have evangelized in various countries, such as Russia, Ghana, Poland, Germany, and Malta amongst others.
