Why Why Why

Male and female He made us all

Some big some skinny

Some short some tall

He made us to love Him

Not to love baseball

Not to love the gym

He made us to also love each other

As husband and wife

Joined in matrimony to eventually create a son or daughter

Never once joined unless death intervention

Shall these two souls

Ever submit to separation

What have we done these multitudes of ages

But create a system for adulterers

This was never written in the Holy Pages

In this country alone a tv show Divorce Court

Prayer not alone but together

Is the only way to stop this horrific sport

As Mark reminds us in his Gospel today

Love each other and become as children

To our Lord only must we listen and obey

Amen
