The Church and State are at Odds
Asked about the Presidential election Pope Francis was quoted as saying “Both are against life, be it the one who kicks out migrants, or be it the one who kills babies″.
This is an endorsement of Donald Trump. “Why you ask ?” (As my Cousin Vinny would say). Well the Pope’s beef with Trump is that he kicks out migrants. This is an odd accusation since it is his job to do so. (Or at least it is the job of a valid president.) Trump’s problem with the so-called migrants is not that he dislikes them but figures they should come in legally and be accounted for.
This is not unkindness toward immigrants but rather a concern for the country. The pope considering this a ‘grave sin’ on the part of Trump is somewhat odd especially in contrast to Kamala’s sin. Anyway, people have locks on their doors so that they know who they are letting in. When you go to sleep at night you lock the back door. Why leave the country’s door wide open?
No other country will let you in without a visa.
Then there’s Kamala. A hardcore abortion protagonist who has made many lethal crusades to promote abortion. The cover for that is that they are promoting ‘reproductive health’. This has been what she has been worked on – in earnest – throughout her term in Washington. Now Kamala says she will give you $24,000 for a new house. But what good is a house without any children?
The Democrats are big supporters of Planned Parenthood who had a van conveniently parked at the Democratic ir national convention in which van they killed 25 babies. The Biden / Harris administration have funded Planned Parenthood time and time again - making all of us a party to their actions. Trump / Vance have pledged to de-fund Planned Parenthood.
So, Yes, Pope Francis, she kills babies.
So the pope has made his choice – there is no doubt that Trump is the lesser of the alleged ‘2 evils’. Abortion’s evil far outweighs a lack of hospitality while protecting our border.
Before the 2020 election Fr. Altman and Bishop Strickland warned that a Democratic vote might send you to hell. Reflecting on what has transpired since then, how do you reckon that forecast turned out ?
