In the gospels, Christ has told us the need to be known to others. “But whoever denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God” (Luke 12:9). Even the Old Testament prophet Isaiah warns, “rebelling and denying the LORD, turning away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering lies from the heart” (Isaiah 59:13).
During her recent campaign rally, VP Harris was heckled. This time, she was challenged to proclaim God. Sadly, she did the complete opposite.
Luke Polaske, a junior from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, attended the rally and described the moment in an interview with FOX. He went there with Grant Beth.
The pair were shouting, “Christ is King!” and “Jesus is Lord!” while getting shoved by some of the rally-goers. The moment was recorded and has since gone viral.
“I was pushed by an elderly woman. We were heckled at, we were cursed at, we were mocked, and that’s the biggest thing for me personally,” Beth said. “In reflection of the event, Jesus was mocked. You know, his disciples were mocked, and that’s OK.”
“She was actually waving to me. I took this cross off my neck that I wear, and as we were getting asked to leave, I held it up in the air and waved at her and pointed at her, and she looked directly in the eye, kind of gave me an evil smirk,” Polaske recounted.
Polaske warns that if elected America will have a Kamala Harris who will, “alienate over 50% of the US population that is Christian. You’re going to get the Kamala Harris that skips the Al Smith Memorial Dinner.”
Again, is this the direction America wants? Does America want to elect someone who will abandon God?
15 Days remain until the election. Remember that Christ is King. Surely, the one who was put on the pedestal without the consent of the party.
