As we approach Holy Week just days away for us to ponder
In the eyes of non-believers, where is God?
As we watch the many who have discounted God and all that He has promised our faith has been challenged to a point of confusion. We raised our children to learn about and accept the very presence of God and see the Crucifixion of Christ as the only way to heaven, the frustration of finding so many seeking sin as their mantra.
Yet, when the object of what faith is really about it no longer holds a desire to become a first place in the minds of those we love and wonder where their souls will end up at their death. The obvious end for so many young people, not discounting our elder parents, is going to become a disastrous reality that will encourage more young people to find a god that is made-up by the Satanic endearing generation.
The first problem that is gaining popularity is comparing Jesus with Mohammed prophets and the many visions of equal status that will take away the divinity of God’s Son and destroy the very Word of God for his creation; humanity.
What is occurring in this world of self-made prophets is found within the enterprises of actors and others who place themselves as the ones who have all the answers of life. Where did they ever get this message that to exist in harmony is to become like gods yourself? Problem here is they have side-stepped the plan of God when he created each one of us. God created human beings to live with him in eternity and give praise to his existence and love for creating us. God doesn’t need you or me. He wants you and me and will share his divine omnipresence with us forever.
What has happened where we can see that this attraction of life without our true God is going to be the ultimate path to the direct fall into hell?
How is the challenge we have inherited to evangelize these people that have been motivated to adhere this type of Satanic attraction to New-age philosophies that will become their final loss of eternity with God? Are we, who believe in God, free from this Woke generation that is going to bring freedoms to an end? Absolutely not if we retain our faithful connection to God and the Church and follow this movement by doing nothing.
Remember the song : “Hello darkness, my old friend I've come to talk to you again Because a vision softly creeping Left its seeds while I was sleeping. And the vision that was planted in my brain still remains within the sound of silence. And the sign said The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls and tenement halls and whispered in the sounds of silence. (Taken from the Sounds of silence by Simon and Garfunkel).
Has this song by Simon and Garfunkel from 1964 become a rebirth to what is happening in our nation today? What was occurring in the 1960’s is actually finding credence in 2024? Let’s eliminate the attraction to Woke philosophy that will surely be the downfall of the United States.
