What Prayer Does

What Prayer Does

Through prayer our Father communicates

In the silence of our mind to us He speaks

Through that communication we gain

Needed information that issues forth into our soul and our brain

From there we are able to use His instructions

To do His Will and put commands into actions

Just as our Lord Jesus was able to do that day on the mountain

Where he chose His Apostles those who would start and maintain

The Church we know today as they knew then

Fully Catholic and Christian

So to them we must also pray

To gain needed Wisdom Truth and Love each day

Given to us from our Blessed Trinity

Who if we choose will be with us through eternity

Amen
