Lead Us Not Into Temptation
A dear friend forwarded a magazine article to me regarding Chrissy Teigen’s abortion and her firm pro-choice stance. According to the article, she had an abortion because she had a partial placenta abruption. She claimed her life was at risk, and her doctor recommended an abortion, performed at 20 weeks. I wonder if the doctor provided her with other alternatives before taking the massive step of taking the life of her baby. I understand that in such a situation, fear and uncertainty can cloud one's judgment, but it's essential to consider all options.
Upon conducting research, I discovered that partial placenta separation, while serious, is not always life-threatening. There are alternatives, such as complete bedrest and continuous ultrasound monitoring, that could have been considered instead of abortion. This knowledge opens up a world of possibilities and hope for similar situations in the future.
I wonder if she was aware the baby could feel pain at 20 weeks. I doubt it. She is more than likely one more woman who takes the words of Planned Parenthood or other pro-choicers (including doctors) as Gospel. When will people stop unquestioningly accepting the words of Planned Parenthood, other death clinics, and liberals? When will they realize that the preborn are just as human as they are and that medical practices these days have advanced impressively to the point that only in extremely rare circumstances is a mother’s life at risk?
Maybe I’m a little hard-core when it comes to protecting the unborn, but that is what God wants. These verses from Matthew 18:10 and 18:14 serve as a powerful reminder of the divine perspective on life. They inspire us to protect and cherish the lives of the unborn, as it is not the will of our Father in Heaven that one of these little ones should perish. This perspective can guide us in our understanding of the sanctity of life.
“See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in Heaven their angels always see the face of my Father, who is in Heaven.” “So it is not the will of my Father who is in Heaven that one of these little ones should perish."
