Issues Trump Should Address in First 100 Days of 2nd Term
On Twitter, Dr. Ingrid Skop, an OBGYN from Texas, dispels the myths from the abortion lobby, which continues to propagate the narrative that women have died from abortion bans.
Here are her responses regarding the deceitful propaganda brought about by the abortion lobby.
Lie 1: Women’s care Changed by abortion ban
Skop: After Texas enacted its pro-life law, the quality of medical care I provide did not change nor has the law prevented me from caring for my patients. This is true even in cases of pregnancy emergencies.
Lie 2: Ectopic Pregnancies
Skop: Since the Dobbs decision, I have cared for many women suffering from ruptured ectopic pregnancies. I have performed surgeries to treat incomplete miscarriages and failed drug-induced abortions.
Lie 3: Physicians are not allowed to save the lives of both mother and child
Skop: I have intervened when a pregnancy complication threatened a mother’s life, even when I anticipated that, sadly, the unborn child would not survive the action required to protect his mother. Under every pro-life law, including in Texas, physicians can intervene to save women’s lives in pregnancy emergencies.
Once again, the media must be held accountable for their vague and false stories. Don’t be fooled. The media is propagating the issue of abortion. The lobby never cared about women. Rather, it uses them for profits while recklessly endangering their lives.
