Post-Presidential Election - 2024

The Republicans took the prize with President elect Trump winning a hard fought campaign.  And the Senate is now in the majority by two members.  But the benefit to the nation and the world is the winner since a puppet will not be in charge.  

Harris could have changed the outcome if she had chosen Shapiro (governor of Pennsylvania) as a running mate. Could've, would’ve, should’ve are the adverbs that might have made a difference did not occur.  Those of us who voted for Trump are elated and look forward to the future of our nation and the influence it will have on the world as well.

Looking at the crux of the results for this win we must believe that God was in charge of our success as voters for a sane and complete peaceful take-over of the White House.  

June 13, 2024 in Butler, PA God stepped in and redirected the bullet that nearly assassinated Donald Trump.  This miraculous intervention was divinely orchestrated   by God and for the reason that Trump was supposed to be the 47th President of the United States.  There may be some, especially those who wanted to keep our nation on a downward spiral, that may never accept this scenario.  We need to look at Sacred Scripture, both Old Testament and New Testament, to see the plan of God unfolding before our eyes and why he has chosen a 

Leader of a believing nation to continue in his divine plan that will bring about the final blows of the world.  

Abraham interceded for Sodom  asking God if he would withhold their destruction even if he found 10 righteous people.  God said he would withhold their destruction if he could find 10 people who were righteous. (Gn 18: 16 - 33).  Perhaps that is what the Lord is now doing for our nation and he may just be finding some in the United States that are worth giving us another chance to redeem ourselves.  Time will tell and in the meantime let all of us get back to our faith and make Christ the center of our lives.
