20 years of Ladder 49
It is safe to say that another hard-fought presidential race is over. Americans were watching the results like it was a gender reveal party. Despite everything thrown against him, Donald J. Trump won his second term. He defeated not just the incumbent Vice President but also her elites, who want nothing but the death of America.
“This was, I believe, the greatest political movement of all time,” Trump said in Florida early Wednesday morning. “There’s never been anything like this in this country, and maybe beyond.” He goes on to credit for making this moment possible as he was referring to being spared from two assassination attempts.
Trump fared well by 15 points with Catholics. It makes sense as to how radical Harris has been to Catholics. While many can speculate that the 2024 election echoed that of 2016, it was far different than Trump’s first bid for the White House.
His message was to unite America. Indeed, he brought onto his team former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, Elon Musk, Tucker Carlson, and Robert F Kennedy to help Trump halt Kamala Harris. Some were a part of the now-dead Democratic Party who joined Trump’s political crusade to protect Catholics, fight for a policy that puts every American first, and protect the values of America.
Trump will return to the White House on January 20th as the 47th President of the United States. If he is in office by January 2027, he will be the first president since Franklin D. Roosevelt to be in the Oval Office ten years after the first inauguration.
Trump was not the only highlight of the GOP victory last night. The Republicans regained the US Senate for the first time since 2020. Here are the three state races that ensured a majority in the Senate.
West Virginia
Joe Manchin’s will be leaving politics, which prompted a race to have his seat replaced. Jim Justice was the first gain for the Republicans.
Justice was also the state’s governor. During his time, he passed the West Virginia Mothers and Babies Pregnancy Support Program, a crucial initiative that supports mothers and families by creating a funding mechanism for the state’s pregnancy help centers.
Ohio
In JD Vance’s home state of Ohio, the party saw a big surprise of the evening to help make way for the red tsunami.
Bernie Moreno, an immigrant of Columbia, defeated incumbent pro-abortion senator Sherrod Brown
Montana
In the “Land of the Shing Mountains,” Tim Sheehy defeats incumbent Jon Tester. Tester has long attempted to promote abortion during his time in Congress. That all came to an end.
There are still three senate races that are being determined in Arizona, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. The Democrats were able to hold the line in the senate races of Michigan and Wisconsin.
This win proves one thing and that is America is not buying the agenda that centers around faulty agendas like abortion, woke agenda, and even higher prices to help the greedy elites of America.
Trump will have his majority and no doubt much will be completed in the first 100 days of his second term. There is no doubt we will bring back greatness not just for America but for the world.
Let’s give thanks to God that he intervened during this moment in history. Let’s continue to pray for all who are looking to heal from this tumultuous time in U.S. History. Let's remember to love our neighbors today and every day as we navigate the aftermath of the presidential election year.
