The world's hatred

I probably would have written a different article for today, but, you know, I’m not done with it.  Depressingly, some of the articles I think are amongst my best and most important, are also amongst the least popular. 

But hey, I have to write SOMETHING. 

By the way, I can check how many viewers of these articles there are in the US.  For the ones I put my heart and soul into, not many (Writing for the sake of the kingdom, Who will save Brazil?) bother reading.

And sometimes, I have articles that I have poured my heart and soul out over, and other times, I write out of obligation.

This one is both.

In my writing process, one of the first things I do, is think about a topic.  Or, flip through the Bible and then expound on a verse or multiple verses.  The Bible isn’t just “some book” to me, and that’s not how I think of it.

Ahh, here’s a some verses that I really should have had in mind after I became Catholic; and the King James Version, because I don’t have to fair copyright issues; “If the world hate ye, know that it hated me before it hated you.  If ye were of the world, the world would love his own (Editor’s note; yet, that sounds weird to me, too): but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore, the world hateth you. 

Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord.  If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.  But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.  If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. He that hateth me hateth my Father also.  If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not sin: but now they have both seen and hated me and my Father.

But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.  But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, he shall testify of me; And ye also shall bear witness because ye have been with me from the beginning” (John 15:18-27).

Now, as we can tell by the last very, Jesus is talking to his followers who are there. 

But, there is truth here (as there is in all Jesus’s words, he IS truth).  Jesus makes the point of people who hate those who speak the truth of the gospel.

Go on to YouTube, watch a pro-life video.  That gives you a government funded link that says abortion is something other than murdering a baby.

Watch a video about people who might consider themselves formerly gay, same thing.  A government propaganda link that lies about conversion therapy.

Sometime ago, back on Twitter/X/Twix, Twitter’s “community” notes, made a FALSE claim, that because of sanctions, Russia couldn’t use Starlink.  Well, this is false.  Elon Musk sells the technology to China (because of course he does), and this is Russia’s biggest partner at the moment (GOP are too weak on Russia, and Dems are too weak on China, two sides of the same coin on that one).  I’m pretty sure that Mr. Musk would have to know this.

So, you have two of the biggest social media communities on earth, literally spreading disinformation in the name of…

Preventing disinformation.

Look, I’m aware that it’s unpopular to be Pro-life.  I’m aware that big tech and Hollywood don’t like my views on transgenderism.  I’m aware that, somehow, being Conservative means I have to be Pro-Russia (nope, not now, not ever, The Lviv Pseudo-Council, Russia wants Eastern Catholics extinct, that’s called a genocide).

But I’ll speak the truth, even if no one else will.  Remember, the ultimate principle for me is this, truth is a person; Truth matters

During the Soviet Union, Soviet citizens still found ways to spread information (ACCURATE information) about the evils of communism. 

We shouldn’t have a government that lies to us about the evils of abortion.  We shouldn’t have a government that’s dishonest with us about homosexuality.  We shouldn’t have a government that promotes transgenderism in children. 

We shouldn’t trust tech companies that decide the best way to promote the “truth” is to tell you something that you’re completely capable of looking up on your own.

It’s like making you a permanent child.

Make no mistake, I’m not a libertarian or an anarchist or anything like that. 

In fact, I think libertarians are just leftists that want crony capitalism.  It’s the worst of both conservatism and liberalism.

Anyway, my point is this.  The world hating those of us that spread the gospel.  That tell people about Jesus.  That share the truth with the world.  This is something Jesus told us would happen. 
And, make no mistake, there IS no such thing as a “Post Christian world”, right now it’s an ANTI-CHRISTIAN world. 

I have no doubt these people think they’re doing good, but, these are people whom have heard the name of Jesus, and reject him anyway.

And there goes Word being all hypercorrecty!

God is not some abstract person.  Jesus isn’t just a Middle Eastern Jew that lived 2,000 years ago.  He still lives.  The Bible isn’t just some book, it’s the story of salvation.

And abortion doesn’t “end a pregnancy”, it kills a baby (giving birth would end a pregnancy). 

If we can’t speak the truth on these things, can we speak the truth on anything?
