Send Us Your Light, oh Lord we pray

Send Your light oh Lord, we pray

Lest the Evil One’s temptations lead us astray.

Spread Your Light to lead us and guide the way.

This is the soft prayer whisper to thee we pray.

Teach us our Mission and how to serve you here on earth.

The reason for our being since the time of our birth.

We now realize all you did on earth was as an example for us,

To live by your love, mercy, and kindness.

So often we are distracted from you through sickness, sorrow, and strife,

We look to you Lord to teach us the true way of life.

A stumbling block is fear of death and the unknown,

With the passage of time, we come to see The Light and place our trust in You.

Your love and mercy as promised, will lift our spirits and we will be renewed.
