To the Ends of the Earth: Character – Week 6, Day 1 - The Grain Must Die to Produce Fruit
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being changed into his likeness from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3:12–18
In Christ we behold the face of Love! The veil that covered the Holy of Holies in the ancient temple has been torn asunder, giving us access to the very glory of the Almighty. In Christ, freedom has replaced fear. Because of his great sacrificial love, we have been set free from the darkness of doubt and uncertainty. Now we can come boldly before God’s throne to find mercy and receive the grace we need for godly living (cf. Heb 4:16).
Christ sets us free from sin and empowers us to live out our faith and become a blessing to the world. We are daily being transformed into the image of Christ, the One who loved the world to the fullest. We Catholic men must cast aside our fear and doubt and commit to a single-minded, passionate, and ever-growing relationship with Christ. We must take the transforming faith we experience day by day and carry it to the lost of this world. We must become better men, better husbands, better fathers, and better brothers in the Faith. We must move from glory to glory through the trials by the transforming power of the cross, so that we can bring change and renewal to this world. Nothing else will do for those who are truly sold-out for Christ.
