Holy Thursday penetrates the Eucharistic Mystery. The Eucharist is intimately tied to all Sacramental life, being itself the pinnacle of all Sacramental life, and is also intimately tied to Christian unity, as the Eucharist is the very sign of Christian unity, "Communion".
As you all know over the years, I firmly believe, now with pinnacle evidence, that the loaves and/or fishes stories, which are already seen as Eucharistic in context, are, conglomerately, a revelation of all sacramental theology of the Church as regards Christian disunity.
The parallels are inescapable:
Five Loaves, Two Fish: Heresy
Heretics lose five sacraments, the ones requiring the Episcopate, and retain only two, Baptism and Marriage: The fish are in the sea, and heretics are tossed to and fro by every wave of doctrine. Without the Episcopate and Tradition, they are hopelessly tossed about in the ocean of doctrines, trying to understand the Scriptures without that same stable pillar and ground of truth, the Bishops and Tradition that give right understanding of Scripture, from which the same five loaves must come, the barely grown in that same ground.
Seven Loaves, Few Fish: Schism
Schismatics have the Episcopate and so have all seven sacraments. They are, however, a little unstable doctrinally, they fish a little, since they lack the fullness of the Episcopate, Peter. Without Peter, they debate the teachings of Peter that have evolved over the last thousand years since they left Peter.
Three Loaves at Midnight: the Three Sacraments of Initiation
Profoundly, there are three sacraments in one category, Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. Normally, they are given at the beginning of the day of life, as in the Eastern Rites, both of Catholicism and Orthodoxy, or, as in the Roman rite, spread out over the beginning of life. But some persons “journey a long time” in life before they find the Father’s House, and so arrive late, “at Midnight.” They are ready, since they are adults, for “all three loaves” at once, since they, too, are very hungry from such a long journey. Hence, “friend, a friend has come in from a long journey, and I have nothing to feed him. Please lend me three loaves!”
Hence, at the Easter Vigil, those adults who have never been “fed” any sacraments, but have been journeying in cold and hunger for so long, get “three wonderful loaves” all in one night!
From One End to Another: The Extremes
Then there were the extremes that heretics tend to pole on, tossed from one wave of doctrine to another--from one extreme to another.
What are the two extremes?
First set of Extremes: Presumption and Scrupulosity
We saw that the lack of five sacraments poles heretics into two camps: Those who proudly and presumptuously presume immunity to the five [formal, or culpable heretics] and those who are honest and good heretics, who therefore feel the real need for them, and hence who are fearful and uncertain, seeing as they see that they have no full guarantee of what to believe and do for salvation.
This creates five anti-Sacramental tortures: stone for bread, scorpion for egg.
The Right and the Left, the Head and the Heart, the Other World and This World
The other extremes that Protestantism tends toward is the right and the left, the hard-headed but hard-hearted heretics and the soft-hearted but soft-headed heretics, or the heretics that tend to emphasize the other world to the detriment of this one, or vice versa.
These are like the Pharisees and Sadducees, but in a New Testament context, or derivatively, the left and the right.
The Right: the Hyper-Spiritual
The right is hard-headed but also hard-hearted. They hyper-emphasize the other life to this one. They seek to believe in doctrines, in hard-headedness, but they are also hard-hearted, not lending a hand to help those in need or to help them live the doctrines, like Jesus’ rebuke of the Pharisees, who impose harsh burdens upon the faithful but will not lift a finger to help them. They tend to see human suffering as the result of the suffering’s sin. They brought it upon themselves. “This man is born blind. Was it his sin, or his parents?” Like evangelical pregnancy centers, the ones that tell the girl, if you accept Jesus, we will help you, otherwise, sorry. Or the Christian "Pharisee" who sees the poor homeless man, and tells him, why don’t you get a job? Why don’t you repent, and you wouldn’t have these problems? They are mostly concerned about saving people from Hell, the spiritual, or other-worldly, works of mercy and less about helping them in their temporal needs.
The Left: the Hyper-Corporal
On the other hand, the left is soft-hearted. They have the compassionate experience to know that bad things happen to good people. They know that the suffering many times don’t deserve it, that hey are victims. So they show compassion; they help the persons materially. But they then, precisely because of disillusionment of so much innocent suffering, have lost faith in the other-worldly things. They say to themselves, where is this God of salvation? Of meaning and purpose and Plan? If there is a Plan, and meaning, and truths, wherefore so much senseless suffering of the innocent, and yet counterpart prosperity of the wicked? They, therefore, tend to downplay doctrine, truth, and the other-worldly concerns, and focus on this-worldly corporal works of mercy.
Hence, “Why such waste? This alabaster jar could have been sold for THREE [three loaves of anointing? The Sacraments of Initiation?] hundred pence AND GIVEN TO THE POOR”.
The worship of the God-Man, the other-worldly Savior, and the seeking of mercy-- imaged by the woman lavishly anointing the feet of Christ and, with painfully heart-felt contrition, seeking forgiveness, the necessary condition for salvation--is spurned for the sake of the corporal works of mercy.
The Hyper-Corporal Mockery of the 3 Initiation Sacraments
Here, the three sacraments of initiation are the prize and joy of the hyper-corporal, interpreted, by the same liberals, the hyper-corporal-works-of-mercy Christians, in the context merely of the self-same corporal works of mercy:
Hyper-Corporal Baptism: We are initiated into a mainly corporal community, the “Church,” where we share “faith” in humanity’s capacity by the “Spirit” to care for the less fortunate and down-trodden, where “salvation” will ultimately mean “all are fed”, physically, all are provided for in the material needs [effectively pushing towards communism]. “Repentance”, really only means, turn away from selfishness and help others corporally. In this regard, also, that Baptism truly washes away Original Sin is downplayed. Authentic Original Sin means that whereas human beings are not utterly depraved in nature, and, in fact, more or less naturally good, nevertheless, a serious tendency to sin and ignorance exists apart from grace and revelation. It is not to be hyperbolized yet must be taken seriously. The liberal interpretation downplays Original Sin to all but non-existent: People are basically really good and more prone to love and goodness than bad, if only they have what they need temporally. Virtually no-one has any substantial culpability. Hence, nearly all men will be saved in their view. Hence, Baptism is more emphasized as, again, entrance into a Community versus washing away sin and redeeming. Baptism is also liturgical, which is heartfelt, hence, the left is very diverse and inclusive liturgically.
Hyper-Corporal Confirmation: Authentic Confirmation has spiritual gifts to enable other-worldly salvation. It makes one a mature member of the Church. For the liberal, spiritual gifts are replaced with natural talents, which are used not so much to help you get to heaven, but to build up the community, to be used to help those in need. One is a mature member, not of so much a Spiritual Communion journeying toward other-worldly bliss, but just a “Corporal Community” ever improving the world to a material utopia, where all are welcome, all are fed.
Hyper-Corporal Eucharist: The Eucharist is no longer primarily aimed at strengthening one’s spiritual condition to avoid sin and grow in spiritual sanctity and a sign of a Communion of persons joined by common faith and unity in an abundance of positively revealed spiritual truths and mysteries and worshipping in unified, uniform Liturgy, but becomes merely a “celebration and thanksgiving” of the vague, soft-headed “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” community that is “one in exercising the corporal works of mercy.” Hence, because the left downplays the mind, believing as “one” in positive explicit doctrines is downplayed. What you “believe” is less important than that you are “compassionate.” Hence, again, virtually all men will be saved regardless of beliefs and religion. And, effectively, the “food” of the Eucharist is no longer an end unto itself but merely pointing toward that time when all humanity has enough corporal sustenance.
The Hyper-Corporal Mockery of the Other 4 [non-Initiation] Sacraments
The other sacraments they would rather leave behind:
Confession? No way, we are not sinners. That is offensive. We are all victims. Consider, too, across all of Western Europe and Northern America, amongst other places, the land of Hyper-Corporal Christianity, confessions lines are veritably empty. And hardly anything is really bad. Even if it is objectively serious, virtually no culpability is ever present. Hardly anyone is really culpable at all for what they do. Just give people food, clothing, and shelter, and then they will be good people.
Marriage? Who can we live chaste lives? They, per St Timothy’s Letter, “Have the semblance of godliness but deny its power thereof.” Sexuality is based on affection for them, less about children. The pull of our instincts simply cannot be curbed by Jesus or the sacraments, and children are more burdens than blessings. So, admittedly, chastity, in the sense of no fornication, no artificial birth control, no abortion, gays living celibate lives, would be nice, they say, but it isn’t practical. So let us go ahead and support sexual activity that is immoral and make provisions for it (birth control, divorce, abortion, gay pride).
Holy Orders? No way! Patriarchs are Tyrants. In fact, let us make WOMEN the supreme ones in authority: in ordination, in teaching, in preaching, … There is a radical push in Western "Catholicism" to ordain women. And even though, "as of yet", women are not ordained, Liberal Catholicism is saturated with Women Leadership Roles to a very low amount of male forms, and the priests, in general, are effeminate and unmanly, if not physically, then certainly spiritually. An authentic Patriarch has spiritual potency; when he descends from the altar down upon his bride, the parish community, he is called to proactively penetrate her innermost mind and heart and impregnate her with real seed, real substance: truth, doctrine, meaning, mystery, purpose, and real inspiration to go and live what she has learned, so help her God. The dragon's mockery of the patriarch is effeminacy: the priest is spiritually impotent, and what seed might come forth from him is largely sterile, since it is mainly dessert--no main course. Hence, pretty much, the anti-Patriarch, the effeminate counterfeit of what a priest should be, just massages his bride's abdomen gently and gives her strawberry shortcake before she slumbers.
Anointing of the Sick? Is there meaning in human suffering? Can we really help save souls by offering up our crosses to God? Some believe- Not really; God is hands off to this world; His involvement is minimal, if non-existent. Suffering should be eliminated at nearly all costs: if it gets bad, you should be able to eliminate substantial burdens: euthanasia, abortion, and so forth.
The Hyper-Spiritual Mockery the 4 [non-Initiation] Sacraments
The counterpart, the Right, the Hyper-Otherworldly, then mainly leave the mushy initiation sacraments behind and focus on these four above, that the Left rejects:
For them, Original Sin is hyperbolized: man is so depraved in his being that he is hardly even naturally good. Virtually all men are fully culpable for their actions almost always. The vast majority of men will be lost.
Hyper-Confession: Sin is to be avoided at all costs, but as though even the smallest things will damn you. Our sinfulness is hyper-emphasized, so much so that we should cower in scrupulous fear of hell! Repent!
Hyper-Marriage: Here, rather than affection, prudishness enters in: sex is for procreation only, not bonding. Aberrational heretical sects push reckless amounts of children without the possibility of prudent natural birth control. And yet, not a finger is lifted to help those in crisis pregnancy.
Hyper-Holy Orders: Hyper-Holy Orders: not loving fatherhood and gentle authority, but dictatorial, harsh totalitarian rule, aka, The Westboro Baptist. If it is true that the Hyper-Corporal Christians have mostly women and few men in leadership, the remainder of which are effeminate, in Hyper-Spiritual Christianity, women are all but absent, if never present, and even demeaned. Again, the men are effectively harsh in discipline and fearful.
Hyper-Anointing of the Sick: Because everything is practically predestined, if you are suffering, it is your fault; God is punishing you. So if you would just repent, you would be healed. Hence, misfortune is a sign of your sin. Also, PRAY you PERSEVERE in salvation! Lest you lose all that you amassed in last minute sin!
The Hyper-Spiritual Mockery of the 3 Initiation Sacraments
Baptism: Is liturgical: because the hardened heretics have radically rejected the mediated, liturgical Fatherhood of Bishops and Priests, they severely downplay the formality of Baptism in place of personal, informal repentance. You don’t get saved when you are baptized, you get saved when you radically repent of your vile wickedness. Baptism is just a formality. Religion becomes very individual: It is ME and Jesus, not US and Jesus, as with the liberals. I got saved. Emphasis is on repentance, not entering a community. Also, you must BELIEVE the right things, faith, or else! If you get things wrong, you will perish.
Confirmation: when the Right is fully entrenched, so much Divine Activity is recognized, that free will diminishes, which leads to hyper-predestination: God even predestines the damned. Hence, God does not necessarily want you saved! So confirmation is downplayed: Confirmation implies God WANTS you saved because He gives you special gifts to persevere in the mature Christian life. When God may not want you saved, Confirmation may not work for you!
Eucharist: if it is true that liberals are Hyper-Inclusive in Community, the right is Hyper-Exclusive: not only is there absolute truth, but unless you get EVERY LAST JITTLE of it RIGHT, you will PERISH! Unless you ABSOLUTELY belong to our church community, you will fry! We are the true community, and all outside of us are perishing, whether or not they know it!
The Left Counterfeit Church and the Woman with the Alabaster Jar
Returning to the Woman with the Alabaster Jar:
The 300 pence Alabaster Jar then also gives rise to a counterfeit “woman.” The true woman is contrite, recognizing her sin and need for mercy and resolved to sin no more. She worships the Christ completely, in all His facets: teachings, sacraments, patriarchy.
The counterfeit woman then offers a 3 x 10 x 10 pseudo-worship: effectively a type of the liberal Catholic establishment of the last generation. Effectively, the liberal “Catholic Church” is nothing more than a limp-wristed, substanceless gathering of effeminate persons bent on merely the corporal works of mercy. It has disemboweled itself of anything meaningful from an other-worldly standpoint. Liberal RCIA catechists ADORE Easter Vigil, because there, their treasured sacraments of INITIATION are supreme. For them, the elect are not entering the Church in its totality: Truth, grace, and not merely community. No, for them, it IS just a community. They have, as St Paul prophesied, “a semblance of godliness but deny its power”, as follows.
So the liberal pseudo-Church throws out the four sacraments she doesn’t want, and sells what supernatural essence is left in the Gospel for a WORLDLY [10 x 10] (10 is a Biblical symbol of the world, so 10 X 10 is a desperate attempt to be “otherworldly”, but in fact just worldly) counterfeit of the 3 legitimate Sacraments of Community [3 x 10 x 10].
Finally, the Diabolical Counterfeit Community [Socialism]:
3 x 10 can then image a purely worldly counterfeit of the Christian Community, or secular messianism, the Whore, the Kingdom of Antichrist.
The 3 Sacraments are counterfeited:
Anti-Baptism: The state replaces God: have not faith in God and do what pleases Him, but have faith in the State and do its bidding.
Anti-Confirmation: you don't need spiritual gifts for your spiritual end, salvation in the next life. Rather, you need worldly gifts for your TEMPORAL end, your own personal worldly glory, and the end of the state, which is its survival and prosperity.
Anti-Eucharist: you don't need spiritual food to work for the Kingdom of God, that all in the community may be fed spiritually. Rather, we need the State to nourish all our temporal needs, that there be no more poverty.
And yet, the Christ said, "The Poor you will always have with you."
It is absolutely NOT possible to eliminate the cross completely. And it is all the more diabolically impossible to solve the human problems apart from God's truth and grace:
"The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth575 will unveil the "mystery of iniquity" in the form of a RELIGIOUS DECEPTION OFFERING MEN AN APPARENT SOLUTION TO THEIR PROBLEMS AT THE PRICE OF APOSTASY FROM THE TRUTH." - CCC 574
But at the end of the world, the ultimate man of perdition will "betray all that is of God, yes, the God-Man" in order that he may have and give to humanity "all that this world can offer": 30 pieces of silver:
3 [the 3 Sacraments of Initiation into the Community] x 10 [mocked into counterfeits by the WORLD, the 3 Anti-Sacraments of the State, the Pseudo-Messianic "Community"]
