Sand Castles
Walking barefoot in the sand
I love walking on beach land
A house we should build right here
So I can hear the sound of the waves in my ear
Yes by golly
Let’s build it no dilly or dally
The sand is easy to dig in
We’ll be done oh so soon
There it is ain’t it a beaut’
Two bedrooms a kitchen a bath and a roof
Oh look at the surf it’s crazy today
Oh let’s go out and ride a wave
No no it’s gone no
My house where did it go
The waves the pounding
Why I know I had a pretty deep footing
Look why did those houses on those rocks survive
The owners they’re all alive
If I had been in mine
I could not survive
So too when we don’t put our heart into Jesus our Lord
And instead go live in the secular world
Our life will come crashing at the first storm
Better to stay with our Savior the Rock and be forever comfortably safe and warm
