We’ve all heard the song

Jolly old Saint Nicholas lean your ear this way

But this true saint who somehow created Santa Claus

Has December sixth as his feast day

He a Bishop who lived

As we all should

Helping those in great need

Helping to clothe and to feed

We too should learn about giving

About not wanting but always relinquishing

About being a true Santa Claus

Every day not just at Christmas

For this season of purple is for preparing

For working helping and hoping

So enjoy this wonderful day a feast

And think of giving more to those who have the least
