Prepare The Way of Lord

A baptism of repentance

From the liquid that gives life its essence

From the desert he came

Saying the one coming is not the same

Gird up your loins

Remove trash and thorns

Cleanse yourself in this water

Repent and feel all the better

For the one coming I am not worthy

To undo His sandal and cleanse His feet so dirty

Prepare the way of the Lord

Little did John know that truly Jesus is God’s Living Word
