Gabriel, sweet Gabriel

     Yet another story on a sweet boy named Gabriel. Gabriel Charles. 15 years old and growing like a weed. He was short as a child, but puberty came and he sprung up like a rocket, making him taller than his daddy and way surpassing his GG in height. But I guess that really isn't so hard to do considering I'm only five foot two. It feels odd though. To have a child of your own or a grandchild, be able to look you in the eyes without having to jump up or stand on something to equal you. My boy is becoming a man. I still see him as that cute little toddler though. I think it's a trait of a mama or Grandma. I can't help it. He was such a precious baby and then toddler, that the image in my mind will always be of that curly brown-haired little boy with big blue eyes. Jumping around being happy all the time. 

     Gabriel doesn't have it easy. His mind travels 100 miles a minute. It's hard for him to focus or concentrate. His energy is so drained by midday that he passes out in sleep. He takes something for this, but in the midst of growing up, there are just some things pills won't help. Girls, friends relationships, fitting in, School subjects and just plain growing up are all real struggles any teenager faces in high school and on the road to a complete adulthood. He struggles. But he overcomes. His questions are real and reasonable and his desire to find the answers are sought after he asks the person or people that can answer credibly. He wants to know. He wants to talk it out. He wants to love and to be loved, and he is. Sometimes he fights it though in his quest for independence. But if spoken to with a concerned tone he will eventually listen. Another one with a heart as big as the ocean and as deep as the sea. 

     Gabriel, sweet Gabriel. Never give up. Never despair or think You are alone. For goodness sakes, you are a namesake of the great Archangel Gabriel. You are strong, and kind and loving. Keep moving toward that goal we have all been destined for. Remember, this world is passing, but our Eternal home is forever. Make good choices on this quest my love and always remember that there is a God who loves you unconditionally. Never feel lonely. For there is a sweet Guardian Angel standing right beside you always. Ready and waiting for you to guide him in all things and people here on Earth who love you with all their hearts. You have two mamas and two daddies who cherish you and want you under there sweet protection as long as you desire. You have a GG who will always pray that you will walk in the right path and will love you with all her heart.
