Letting go
Jesus Loves the Little Children
Eileen Renders
Jesus loves all His little children. While Jesus was on earth, He traveled and often spoke in the Temples. Jesus taught us through His teachings and appointed His twelve apostles that what He taught could be passed down from generation to generation, including the Ten Commandments. The apostles also kept notes of many important words Jesus said to them, and those writings are Verses and chapters of the bible today.
Often when Jesus spoke to large crowds that gathered around Him, the children would move closer to Him, and remain by His side. Should a parent have called their children to come back to their side, Jesus was known to say; “Let the children come to Me.” Jesus loves the little children dearly as they are pure of heart and free of sin.
Matthew 18:3 Jesus is quoted as saying; “Truly, I tell you unless you become as little you cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.” In saying this, Jesus was speaking of purity and sinlessness. Jesus loves the pure of heart, regardless of age. Those pure of heart are sincere, kind, and loving.
Jesus loves His children to pray and talk to Him every day. Indeed, Jesus does not answer our prayers through an audible conversation. Jesus speaks softly to us within our hearts. He often leads and gently guides His children toward being, doing, or saying what He desires for our well-being.
Therefore, it is fair to say that when we remain without sin, and in the state of grace, God loves us, and we have an opportunity to spend eternity in heaven with God. Worth striving for!
Because Jesus’s Father God created the world, Jesus also has been given gifts from His Father in Heaven that allowed Him to do many things that we cannot accomplish.
When Jesus said; “Let the children come to Me”, Jesus was also saying that He wants to hear from the children every day. When we do this, we begin to understand that Jesus is our friend, our brother, and our family.
When I was a little girl of 6 ½ years of age, I received several vaccines on the same day. I became very ill, and the doctor could find no medicine that could make me well again. I had an infection from one of the vaccines and it was given in my thigh because I was pretty thin. A hole developed in my leg and went very deep and began to fester, and smell like decaying flesh.
This is documented in my book Spiritual Journey with Jesus and Communication with and Messages from JESUS.
Through Jesus’ healing, I came to understand how powerful, how kind, and how loving He is. And ever since that time when I was a little girl, I prayed and talked to Him every day. I cannot hear Him answer, but I always feel warm and happy when I am in conversation with Him, and I know that He hears me, and sometimes answers my prayers.
And I have realized that when what we pray for is not for the good of all, or the time is too soon, Jesus will hold back in answering that prayer. That is when we learn to practice trust.
Jesus said in the Book of Matthew: Chapter 16, Verse 17; “You must become as little children to enter the gates of heaven.” We know that little children are pure and innocent and without sin.
