Words we as Catholics should say daily

To ask for help by prayer from so special a lady

For she truly can intercede

For it is she who gave birth to He

He the Wonder of wonders

He the Begotten son of our Heavenly Father

The words of Elizabeth at the time seem a rarity

We now know them as the prayer Hail Mary

Not a prayer to our Mother who is in Heaven

But a plea to her Son for His grace and forgiveness for we who still sin

Hail Mary full of grace

The Lord is with thee

Blessed art thou amongst women

And Blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus

Holy Mary mother of God

Pray for us sinners

Now and at the hour of our death
