Dietrich Bonhoeffer

     I suggest everyone watch the movie "Bonhoeffer". It is about a young German who was heroic in every sense of the word. A hero, though German himself, stood up and fought for all people of nationality, color and race in the face of one of the most horrific times of the world. A hero, though German himself, his courage and valor can be compared to that of Jesus Christ, whose message was preached to love and forgive. Fighting against one of the cruelest monsters of our times. Hitler. 

     Bonhoeffer was chosen even before his birth, to become a refuge for the lost and persecuted. Born unknowingly in a time that crept in upon the world in secret. Suffering without fear, he continued his mission in the face of darkness, where his light had shown hope to many who dispared. Even to Nazi soldiers who recognized this light and even though their hands and feet were tied by Hitler's satanic agenda, sought forgiveness in the end. 

     His writings are remembered as he wrote words of Hope to all who would read them. His words pierce the hearts of those are searching for strength. Always looking past this world to the next. The real world. Heaven. 

     His courage should be an inspiration to us all. Do not fear and proclaim the Holy Word of God to everyone and all who are lost. 

     His message was simple like that of Jesus Christ's. To love with all your might, the meek and helpless. To never judge and pray for the good of all people to come alive and stand up to evil. To fear not, because God and His mighty army stands before us and in back of us. Surrounding us, with the power of a God who will always win and be the conqueror of all that is not of Him. To stand in the face of danger, with courage and to uphold our King. Our Almighty God.
