Remember the children
My sweet Marley will forever be my little "dolly". She was born with big blue eyes and the sweetest smile of all of the Angels. The sparkle in her eyes to this day lights my heart up like a firework. She is one of my precious grandchildren that God is blessed us with. I can't believe the years have flown by so fast and now she is 14 years old.
My prayer for her, as with all of my grandchildren, is that she will never ever leave the side of Jesus. That His Holy protection, in such a troubled world will sustain her all the days of her life. Her demeanor and adaptability to things is amazing! She's had rough times already, even at such a young age, but her heart remains the same, full of love and joy. She is my little "dolly". The world keeps trying it's best to pull us apart, as I guess, so it happens when children grow and new things and people come into their lives. She still loves her GG.
The times I catch a glimpse of her from afar are bittersweet for this old soul. I still see her in my mind as that precious little ballerina on stage or in her pretty Easter dress. I can't help it. Those memories are etched into my mind like concrete. It makes me smile and feel warm inside that at one time in both of our lives we have gotten to talk, laugh and share stories about Jesus and Mary and the Saints.
Stay Gold, sweet Marley. Your GG loves you. But more important, Jesus and Mary and all the Saints love you too...
