Are You Ready
There are so many choices in life, options include those choices that we are most interested in and options that provide a greater possibility for an enormous income. We thank God for giving every one of us free will. It is believed God gave us free will for a few good reasons, a couple of those reasons are so that we would be happy, but most importantly God desires to see how we will use our free will, and whether we will choose Him over frivolous other opportunities.
Satan attempts with all of his wisdom and wiles to convince us to make choices that provide us temporary satisfaction, or instant gratification because these are usually opposing God’s choices for us. God desires us to take the high road, work with humility for the good of mankind, and most of all, choose to become a disciple of Christ in helping to save souls as we journey toward eternity after leaving this planet.
Without the daily reinforcement from our living Christ, we can often fall prey to Satan’s wickedness and choose to sin. Satan rejoices because he has succeeded in having us believe we are no longer good enough to go to God and with a sincere heart admit our wrongs and our regret, and begin our change of heart.
The “right way”, meaning what is good and positive in God’s definition, for ourselves, and for our brothers and sisters whom we share this planet with, does require some effort to make the necessary changes in ourselves. Without change, we may never see progress.
Trust is our most useful resource in making positive changes. Trust in our Creator that He knows what is best for us, and will happen in His time. We are called to do the best that we can do. The results of our best effort, however, is always up to God.
