Make Me Clean

Lord I am a sinner please make me clean

Forgive me I ask you make my soul sheen

Like the leper in the small town

Whom You healed and removed his frown

I know there are rules that must be met

Your commandments and Will I must perform and not fret

Love all is also what I must do

And by this will I truly be loving You

Following Your Will and not my ego

This one is terribly hard to let go

But to truly be healed and saved I must

For then it will reveal that only You Lord do I trust

Please heal me Jesus

I pray for this

So that when from this world I pass on

It is into your loving arms in Heaven
