Keep your hands open

     Reach out for the hand of God, of Jesus, of Mary our Mother, of St Joseph, of all the Saints and Angels of Heaven. They are ready to grab onto our needy and pleading hands. For protection and guidance, is that, like of a blue sky in the forest of trees. In a wilderness with many paths. Grab on tight and never ever let go. They see us, they hear us and are ready to help us, all for the asking. 

    Keep not our hands closed while we pray as the gentle touch can comfort and secure our prayer before the Throne of God. Just as our minds close to the distractions that we face daily, we offer our hands, open, to receive the grace that radiates from Heavens Holy hands. 

     Our prayers and petitions and love are touched by the Open hands of Jesus, inviting us to touch His Sacred hands as we behold the pierced wounds of His cruel crucifixion. His hands are open as He was lifted in the Resurrection to Heaven. From the Holy Sanctified open hands of the Priest at every Holy Mass. As the Holy hands of Mary, as She exclaims "I am the Immaculate Conception". Clasp tight the Open hands of the Saints as they offer the strength they received at the moment of their persecution and martyrdom. 

     Lay your hands, as they touch the One and Holy God, who is our Father. A Father ready to grab on and hold tight whenever we need Him to. Let us hold our hands open, and then after, receiving that Holy touch, bring them together in thankful and Holy prayer and resignation.
