In the end Stormy Daniels eventually admitted it was all a hoax, and the affair never happened.

Bragg's false Indictment is based upon a fictitious 2017 payment, notwithstanding a 2018 letter from Michael Cohen's Attorney stating that Donald Trump never reimbursed Michael Cohen the $130,000 he personally laid out to Stormy Daniels, neither directly or indirectly = No payment. The bottom line is Michael Cohen & Stormy Daniels tried to embezzle Trump and it backfired. Moreover, the whole case is about election interference before the 2016 Presidential Election against Hillary Clinton, but Cohen didn't even inform Trump about anything to 2017! Supported by a letter from Cohen's Attorney in 2018 that Trump refused payment.
