Signs and Wonders

Every day we experience signs and wonders

Wind that howls and clouds who thunder

From a small acorn comes a giant oak tree

Or a grass filled meadow stretching as far as you can see

Cold causes water to become ice and snow

And on a mountain high from it a glacier will grow

In the spring and during summer

It melts and becomes the earth’s water

A doctor treats a malady

A small child healed he or she

These are all signs and wonders

Given from our Heavenly Father

He Who sent us His only Begotten Son

To heal a few not everyone

His goal was to attract those around

And to form His Church there on the ground

The signs and wonders He offered

Some still appear today if our hearts truly desire

And to thank Him we shout daily offer to Him our true love

He Who created all and is Heaven above
