Boston’s SatanCon and the Call to Arms against Evil Spirits
Capitol Hill was busy yesterday when New York Times bestseller and former Fox News Anchor Pete Hegseth pleaded his case before the Senate about why he should be Secretary of Defense. Hundreds of veterans peacefully marched on Capitol Hill to stand in solidarity with the nominee.
Like any steadfast soldier, Hegseth took on everything thrown at him. He remained calm, cool, and collected amid adverse fire. Some may claim that the way he was treated was similar to that of Brett Kavanaugh’s hearing in 2018. His road to Capitol Hill hasn’t been easy. Many false accusations of sexual assault were trying to derail him from the nomination. It failed. Many labeled him an extremist over his tattoo of the Jerusalem Cross. It backfired.
Hegseth demonstrated that he wanted the job. Here is a breakdown from yesterday’s hearing and how many Democrats in the Senate were made fools with their line of questioning.
Hegseth Gives Glory to God
In the opening moments of the hearing, Hegseth gives Glory to God with a prayer he says with his wife every morning. “All glory — regardless of the outcome — belongs to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His grace and mercy abound each day. May His will be done.”
Sen. Mazie Hirono Slammed for Accusing Him of Potential Invasion of Greenland
Senator Mazie Hirono is a sorry excuse for a senator. Case in point, her line of questioning during the hearing yesterday.
Trump mentioned his ambitions of acquiring Greenland and Canada. Hirono assumed it was going to be through military conquest.
“Trump never strategically tips his hand. I would never publicly state one way or another to direct the orders of the president," Hegseth responded.
"Hirono was playing judge, jury, and executioner based on lies and stupidity," Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., wrote in a post on X.
Hegseth’s Hot Take on Women in Combat
In his 2024 book “The War on Warriors”, Hegseth argued about the standards the military must return to. It drew criticism from Senator Gillibrand of New York.
"Dads push us to take risks. Moms put the training wheels on our bikes. We need moms. But not in the military, especially not in combat units." He wrote in the best seller.
He pushed back at the Senator of New York’s claims by stating, “I would point out I've never disparaged women serving in the military. I respect every single female service member who has put on the uniform, past and present. My critiques, senator, recently and in the past, and from personal experience, have been instances where I've seen standards lowered,"
Hegseth is also committed to protecting women in uniform, as he will be sure to appoint an official to help prevent sexual assault.
Once again, those who watched the hearing or caught the headlines with clear eyes and open minds would agree that the senators who asked questions to offset his nomination show us that they are out of touch with the American people.
Hegseth is eager to be the one who has “Dust on his boots” to take the helm. He stood against adverse fire from the opposition, mainly feminists. He never cowered or changed his words. He fought a battle that brought an imminent victory.
