Passion of the Christ at 20
After four years in the Oval Office and half a century in public office, Joe Biden bids farewell to the nation. The tone of the address was one of sadness, surprise warnings, and hypocrisy. He will soon leave politics with the lowest approval rating of any president (that leaves the late Jimmy Carter off the hook).
Biden was absent-minded, but it was swept under the rug by the media and even his second-in-command, Kamala Harris. He referred to her as the historic Vice President because of her color and gender (talk about a DEI fail). He was living in his world while the country had an empty leadership.
The political coup that took place after failing to perform in the first presidential debate last June has paved the way for Trump to win re-election. The poll numbers didn’t matter following the conventions in Milwaukee and Chicago. Americans, regardless of political affiliation, must look at how he should be remembered.
Thankfully, the four years of chaos brought about under his watch have come to an end, with a new era beginning on January 20th, 2025.
Biden boasted about an unmemorable legacy. He is the epitome of term limits. First elected 1974 as Senator of Delaware, Biden has done nothing but flip-flopped on issues. Look at how he approached the abortion debate. One day, he was against it. Then, he had a 180 in favor of abortion. He officiated a same-sex marriage while Vice President. He was the Manchurian candidate for China and Planned Parenthood. During it all, the damage to his legacy was done and the morale of the nation.
He weaponized the Justice Department to go after political opponents and those who dared to challenge woke ideologies in the classroom, workplace, and even everyday life. Look at the more than forty pro-lifers that were used as an example of how extreme his radical agenda went too far. Several are still in prison over the controversial FACE Act, which he supported while in the Senate.
Biden did warn of an oligarchy that is planning to take over America that was referred to as the “Tech Industrial Complex.” There is some truth to it, yet he wasn’t clear on who it was, but it is suspected that George Soros, an ally of Biden, is a part of this shadow coup. Soros also received the Medal of Freedom (which should be changed to oppression) from Biden, along with many other shady people in politics, entertainment, and business. Trump vows to stop it from running the nation.
The good news for America is that the four years of failure and chaos are now going to be a distant memory. Greatness will be restored. It will take time for many. The word that Americans can keep in mind for the next four years is perseverance. God wants us to persevere in faith and courage. Some storms tried to get us down, but when we walk by faith, we can persevere.
All we can do now is pray for Joe Biden’s conversion and repentance as his days are becoming fewer.
Let every American be defined by perseverance. Let us also pray for America to heal from the wounds of the last four years and push forward.
