"Are You Ready" Chapter IV; The Saga Continues
Finding the Completeness of God!
The sound of God’s Mercy tenderly touches us as one without hearing feels the beat of unknown music. Understanding the completeness of God is not in accumulating human attributes which will satisfy our finite minds; deep within that entity that identifies this closeness is only found through death.
Sitting with a loved one while the embers of life begin to fade from their final moments here, the sense of something far beyond the possibility of what life means is gnawing at the heartstrings of memories that we had, now slipping away.
What is this feeling the Holy Spirit quietly imbeds within our conscience that is indescribable and perhaps only shared with a divine presence? Waiting and watching each shallow breath from our spouse or child wondering just what they can comprehend as the angel of death waits to accept their soul and lead it to God.
This soul will soon find the vibrations of music that the deaf can feel and a smile of acceptance as they rise into the Light that is the completeness of God.
There awaits each of us the same sound of purity entering our sense of being which is beyond the understanding of life which culminates in death. The words spoken over us as our lifeless remains are wheeled into the Church; “We were indeed buried with him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might live in the newness of life.” (Rom 6: 4).
It is only in Christ and through his Passion from Crucifixion to Ascension that we shall even have any hope of eternal life with the presence of God. There are many who have failed to accept this Truth that Christ came through the Incarnation to open our minds to believe in what God planned in the beginning of our creation.
Through the reality of a truth that is non-negotiable looks us in the face either with acceptance by God or rejection by our own choice. It s here that we find what truth is all about. God will never condemn anyone to hell since that is a free will decision by those who contend that God cannot or will not forgive us. We have heard this before and need to adhere that this truth that Jesus spoke of when Pilate comfronted him. “What is truth?” the words Pilate asked Jesus. (Jn 18: 38). “For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save what was lost.” (Lk 19: 10). We are saved only through the grace of God and there is nothing we could ever do that will put us in heaven. However, our rejection of that truth will put us in hell because of our desire to deny Christ! The essence of believing in Christ and holding onto that truth will save or souls. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Heb 13: 8). Christ is the completeness of God!
