ENTER INTO HIS GATES --WITH A SMILE!
Last evening, seeking God for healing of mind and body; seeking reassurance of His love and protection---I opened to jeremiah 17 and found His words that I needed.
7
Blessed are those who trust in the LORD;
the LORD will be their trust.d
They are like a tree planted beside the waters
that stretches out its roots to the stream:
It does not fear heat when it comes,
its leaves stay green;
In the year of drought it shows no distress,
but still produces fruit.e
Continuing to read---
"Heal me, LORD, that I may be healed; save me, that I may be saved, for you are my praise. See how they say to me,
“Where is the word of the LORD? Let it come to pass!” (My healing of mind and body.)
"Thank You God for those reassuring words--now, may I believe and trust in You."
That is when I saw the next verses and was given what was truly needed "to be healed."
Jeremiah 17 v 21
"Thus says the LORD: As you love your lives, take care not to carry burdens on the sabbath, to bring them in through the gates of Jerusalem.n 22 Bring no burden from your homes on the sabbath. Do no work whatever, but keep holy the sabbath day, as I commanded your ancestors,o"
BRING NO BURDENS into your home, your life OR on the Sabbath! This would be any day; for any day is the day that the Lord has made, so let us rejoice and be glad in it!!
Just what are our Burdens that laden us down? Worry, fear, anxiety, guilt, doubts, anger, idol worship or addictions to tech idols, greed, pride, jealousy--they would be anything that burdens your mind and body and keeps you from being at REST.
Rest in the Lord, draw away to pray, trusting in Him and letting God be in total control of your life. Total control!
There is a prupose and a reason for all things that happen in life--no matter what: God has a plan and a purpose!
Romans 8 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Do we want more all all the gifts from the Holy Spirit? We are unable to recieve any gift of the Holy Spirit without the molding, shaping, purifying, chasting, and discipline from the Lord.
So, if you are experiencing any suffering, illness---then lay down those burdens, and come before the Lord. Seeking His Words, and making a total committment to Bring those Words alive into you life--and leaving the "burdens at His door."
We cannot enter into His Kindom any other way, but with faith, hope, love, trust and obedience to His Words to us.
